For a while my mother’s phone would correct Tarot not just to Tater but to Tater Tot, for reasons we couldn’t determine (might have had something to do with a long conversation we had about how tater tot is a brand name) and she wanted me to design a Tarot deck that had a different recipe for preparing potatoes on every card.

Remember the Northern California fires in 2020 – you know, the ones that burned from August through October, with weeks of red skies and months of smoke? Whole communities going up in flames?
That started with a spectacular August lightning storm in the Bay Area that brought dozens and dozens of ground strikes.
So yes, I’m praying to Thor: PLEASE, PLEASE DON’T DO THAT AGAIN.
Im in the PNW and had a pretty bad time that summer, so yes, I do remember very well.
But I also did not know this, because I remember being told multiple times (by the news and other humans) that they were started by a teenage arsonist. I wasn’t sure I believed that then, and it makes sense to hear that it was bullshit now, so thanks for sharing with me.
western WA here, and last year we had a fire that burned from Oct-Sept (Bolt Creek Fire, 41 days total), I want to say. they had to let it burn for forest management reasons but that meant living with 150-300+ AQI for months. that SUCKED, it would be incredible to get some rain and stave off these awful wildfire conditions
okay but i’m thinking about this for real now. sam is lucifer’s true vessel and he had to be fed demon blood as a baby. dean is michael’s true vessel and he was fed angel grace (specifically michael’s) as a fetus. so like.. if dean started feeding on angel grace now would he get super special powers the same way that sam gets them when he drinks demon blood? every time cas heals dean is dean becoming a little bit psychic and he doesn’t even realize it?? maybe some other power?? i’m thinking thoughts now (and i wanna hear other people’s thoughts too)

@stereotypical-jew yeah like how dean has really good intuition about situations but in ways that make no sense. dean ends up being right about a lot of stuff despite there being no logical reason to think what he thinks half the time.
